Maleik strongly believes that community service is a priority. In everything you do, you should give back. Graduating from Booker T. Washington High School (BTW HS), Maleik has seen first hand how students need some extra motivation to get their lives on track. To that end, in October 2019, Maleik established Tomorrow’s Leaders Today (TLT) with two of his friends, McKinley Lowery III and Myles Copeland. After realizing that there was a need for young lady mentorship, Maleik added another friend named Amina Mathews-Hinton. Together, they all periodically visit BTW HS and provide insightful mentorship to the students. COVID-19 cause an abrupt pause on the program. However, they were still able to provide mentorship via Zoom. Lastly, in the Spring of 2021, Maleik will award a scholarship to one lucky student.
