Every year NSU invities students, faculty, and staff to participate in a Commemorative March to honor the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The march ends at L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center where there is a keynote speaker. This year, the speaker was none other than Raymond Santana, one fifth of the Exonerated Five. Maleik received the honor of being able to introduce Mr. Santana at the MLK Observance.
