The day started off with the Campus Vote Project Democracy Summit. As a CVP fellow, along with a few other Spartans, Maleik traveled to Piedmont Community College in Charlottesville, VA. After a long day of organizing and moderating a panel with Delegate Sally Hudson, Maleik traveled back to Norfolk to get changed and head to the Blue Commonwealth Gala. Featuring notable Delegates, Senators, the Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax, and the Governor Ralph Northam, it was truly a memorable experience. A special thank you to Mayor Kenny Alexander and his office for sponsoring Maleik’s seat and the seats of three others.
